Hayley Boxall is the Manager for the Violence against Women and Children (VAW&C) Research Program at the Australian Institute of Criminology. Research undertaken as part of the VAW&C Research Program focuses on domestic and family and sexual violence, child sexual abuse, and human trafficking and modern slavery, and the intersections between these forms of violence.

Since joining the Institute 10 years ago, she has published extensively on domestic and family violence (DFV). She has been responsible for the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and plans for a range of government programs and interventions. This includes a monitoring and evaluation framework for the Australian National Action Plan to Combat Modern Slavery. Hayley is also an experienced evaluator. She has been a primary investigator on a number of projects including the meta-evaluation of the Preventing Violence against Women and Children Program, the evaluation of the Adolescent Family Violence Program and the evaluation of the Youth Hope Program.
